Crocheted in Jacob's Sheep Wool and Lined with brightly-coloured felt, this needlecase is a delightful item for any sewing friend.  Trimmed with an antique mother-of-pearl button, it has an air of almost Victorian elegance.

This wooden frame needs no other picture inside - the lily of the valley print co-ordinates perfectly with the hand-painted frame - but would look lovely with a little embroidery or a family portrait.
The frame has a stand at the back, but could easily be made to hang with the addition of some eyes and cord.
